I offer genealogical research focused on helping you trace your family history. My services include remote research on various ancestral regions, and on site research in New York’s Capital Region. I provide expertise in a variety of genealogical records and sources, including historical documents in Latin and various European languages, as well as the ability to read and translate Germanic Gothic script.
Though I am not yet a certified genealogist, I have been researching family histories since 1998 and have completed the NGS Genealogy Education series. I am committed to continuously learning and refining my skills by attending conferences, webinars, and lectures. My extensive knowledge and dedication to research methodology ensure a high standard of work.
Genealogical research involves a significant investment of time, effort, and access to various paid subscription services. While I am not a certified professional, my knowledge and experience are extensive, and I always strive to provide high-quality, accurate results.

- Flat fee: $100 for 4 hours of research and reports.
- Additional time beyond 4 hours is billed at $20/hour.

- Targeted research with specific goals and research questions.
- Flat fee: $100 for 2 hours of research and reports.
- Additional time beyond 2 hours is billed at $40/hour.
- Additional itemized charges in instances of paid record retrieval and travel.

Please note that my fees reflect the time spent on research, continuous learning, and access to resources such as paid records and subscriptions.
